  • QuickBooks Desktop 2019: 8019, XXXXX.

  • QuickBooks Desktop 2018: 8019, 56728, 55378-55382.

  • QuickBooks Desktop 2017: 8019, 56727, 55373-55377.

• When you are done entering the port number.

• Choose Next and tap on Allow the Connection.

• Choose Next and create a rule with the name QBPorts(year).

Way 2: Switch to Selective Startup Mode

• Press Win+R to launch the Run window.

• Now, type msconfig and hit Enter.

• Click OK and move to the General tab.

• Choose Selective Startup and Load System Services.

• Tap on the Services tab.

• Click Hide all Microsoft Services.

• Tap on Disable all.

• After this, you are required to untick the Hide all Microsoft Services checkbox.

• Hover over the services list and choose Windows Installer from it.

• Click OK and take your cursor to the System Configuration window.

• Tap Restart and install the QB application again.

• Launch the Run command again and search for msconfig.

• Hit OK.

• Head over to the General tab.

• Choose Normal Startup.

• Click OK.

• Go to the System Configuration window.

• Choose Restart.
